Our Approach to SEO Cardiff for Existing Websites
We are an SEO agency that does not take on any new website design projects without including SEO in the configuration. However, most new websites do not come delivered with technical or content SEO so we need an approach to handle these types of projects.

For any SEO project on a new website the first thing that we start with is initial SEO. The initial SEO will

Initial SEO Plan
From the SEO Audit we can:

- Identify Quick Wins
To identify quick wins, we look for search terms that are already on page 2 or page 3 of Google search. We can then add content to the page (including Rich Snippets and Video) that is ranking and create some external links to the page using similar Anchor text. This will normally result in first page ranking in about a month for those keywords.
Long Term SEO Plan
The cornerstone of the long-term plan is the Keyword Map.
We will break down each of the keywords into topics and sub-topics as we do not want to create a page on website for every keyword. Instead there will be a page on the website for every topic or sub-topic.
The topic will contain the keyword and its synonyms. Google knows the synonyms so adding each keyword to the page is not required.
Backlinks will be need for each of the Topics. It is good to have many backlinks for the same Topic but it is better that they each come from different domains as the benefit quickly erodes with many links to the same URL.
From the Keyword Map it is possible to create the plan for on-page and off-page SEO for the next 6 months.
Ongoing SEO Work

In some cases, the client’s in-house technical team choose to perform the SEO work themselves. In this case, the first month of the project is vital and we will undertake daily monitoring of the SEO work to ensure that it is following our deadlines.
